June 14, 2024: Weed Smackdown, Fairbanks. Join community members to remove invasive bird vetch from Creamer’s Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge. Prizes, snacks, and beverages will be provided. Meet in front of the Farmhouse Visitor Center.

June 21, 2024: Seward Community Weed Pull, Seward.

July 6, 2024: Floatable Weed Smackdown- Gulkana River, Gulkana.

July 19, 2024: European Green Crab Awareness Day, Alaska.

August 8, 2024: Harding Lake Campground Invasive Weed Smackdown, Salcha. Join community members to remove invasive plants from Harding Lake Campground. Lunch will be provided. For more information contact summer.nay@salchadeltaswcd.org

August 17, 2024: Anchorage Invasive Plant Smackdown, Anchorage. Join community members to remove invasive chokecherry from Chanshtnu Muldoon Park. Prizes, shirts, and lunch will be provided.
